DEATH APPROACHES-----------------------bY Alexis Joseph (me)As the sounds in my world fade away do i feel empty
And as the colours flutter by do i notice how lifeless everything seems
As the seasons come to a halt does the world crumble
As the trees are stripped of dignity do i feel ashamed
So as time passes by do i feel my end drawing near
Death approaches for both you and me
The sounds have died
The colours are but a blur
The seasons are no more
The trees have been lost
Now only a whisper remains
of what has been or was supposed to be
Our very existence has laid its mark here
We no longer have a place
because death approaches
Unexpected like birth
It comes and goes it takes something precious from us
but it becomes a mere memory....
Waiting to be forgotten once more
but a sheer moment of joy
lets light in to make way
for new things to bloom
if only they had a chance............
message: save the earth....Go green!!!
